Best Laid Plans: June 2012 Edition

Announcement: I’m doing Camp NaNoWriMo, organized by The Office of Letters and Light—which I will <3 forever solely for the fact that it sounds like some kind of weird cult… which it kind of is (because the only people with a more fetishized sense of ritual than writers are madmen and saints) but I digress.

Basically, it’s like regular NaNoWriMo, except no forums, no MLs (of which I’m one, so it’s nice to have some time to be selfish), no events, none of the social time-wasting aspects… okay, it’s not like regular NaNo at all. It’s more like just trying to write 50,000 words in a month. Whatever. I’ll take it. I need this.

June plans:

  • Write every day (something, anything).
  • Write 1,667 words per day of current project.
  • Current project is Lost Loves & Little Deaths, a short fiction collection.

All other projects (Found Objects, Cannibal Anthems, etc) are on hold until July-ish.
